Developed by and for Kansas school districts to support a district-level lactation support program, this concise, resource-rich “Grab & Go” tool includes considerations for the safety of breastfeeding employees expressing breast milk in the workplace during the COVID pandemic.

Brief overview of benefits to a district-wide policy to supporting breastfeeding and implementation tools from the “Grab & Go” document. The objective is to describe at least two (2) ways a school district can implement a districtwide breastfeeding support policy. The audience is district HR staff, building administrators, superintendents, and supervisors.

When considering the best use of ESSER 2 funds, it is important to consider the thoughts and perceptions of staff. Their ideas and insights may help determine where to direct resources and what needs are most urgent. This survey provided asks staff to indicate their need for professional learning in a variety of areas as well as what additional resources and support they feel is most urgent to meet both their needs and the needs of their students.
