This session focuses on finding and using the instructional examples within the Navigating Change document. The instructional examples provide educators with numerous ideas for addressing how the competencies can be operationalized in classroom, hybrid or remote learning environments. The structure of these instructional examples illustrate how the competencies can be integrated across content areas, incorporated with SECD, paired with best practices, connected to high quality instruction, and focused on assessments where students demonstrate mastery. Participants in learn how to find the instructional examples in the document for each of the grade bands, identify the structure within the instructional examples, make connections to instructional practices that work in a variety of learning environments, and get ideas for using or adapting the instructional examples. Audience: teachers, administrators, curriculum leaders.
