During this presentation, we will present the six foundational elements to have in place when moving toward competency-based grading including reflection questions and self-assessment rubrics. The objectives for this session are the following: 1. Defining “competency” and “competency-based learning. 2. The six elements of competency-based grading and how to evaluate the current state in each. 3. Steps to take this year. This presentation is intended for any educator, administrator, or curriculum director at any level.
